Modelling of cardiac impedance signals

This master´s thesis deals with a model of Cardiac Impedance Signal (ICG signal). The ICG (impedance cardiography) signal describes cardiac volume variation within cardiac cycle. Model design is based on statistic study of mutual position variation of the ICG signal face to other mechanic cardiac signals. Construction of the simulated signal form is based on the real signal bases. The final simulated ICG signal is included into an existing model of mechanic interactions between heart and lungs. The result is a functional model of cardio-respiratory interactions, which will be used for the phases of the PRETA laboratory research.
